Established in the year 1997, the Academy of Sound Engineering is the undisputed leader in the field of education of audio engineering technicians in Poland. The Academy performs a wide range of activities aimed at training students and professionals in both sound recording production and live sound, as well as stage systems technology, including electro-acoustics, lighting, multimedia and more…
We have four branches in major Polish cities, including a school in the capital city of Warsaw (also Jaworzno, Gdynia, Wrocław). We educate hundreds of young people, entering the world of sound production every year, as well as many professionals looking to upgrade their qualifications. Our facilities offer state-of-the-art equipment and software, as well as a professional and friendly environment for development of the skills, necessary in the today’s audio engineering field. Academy’s staff consists of seasoned professionals, coming from different backgrounds: ranging from audio recording, editing and mastering, through music production and sound design, to providing services for large-scale concerts and other events.
Apart from on-site training, the Academy engages in cooperation with the audio industry and employers, organising workshops, seminars, visits to production studios, TV, radio, theatres etc. to best prepare it’s students for undertaking work in various positions across the sound engineering sector. We also educate many state institutions’ employees, whose professional duties are related to audio engineering and stage systems technology.
Moreover, for many years, The Academy has been engaged in sculpting the legislative landscape by cooperating with relevant policymakers of vocational eduction in the artistic and audio-visual fields, such as the Ministry of Education and Education Development Centre. Our schools are also certified examination centres for various state diplomas under the requirements of the Central Examination Committee and other certificates.
The Academy partners up with the top equipment and software manufacturers to provide it’s students access to the latest technology. We are a certified training center in the Avid Academic Learning Partner programme. A few years ago, as pioneers on a global scale, we also started cooperation with Presonus, in the field of training int he utilisation of Presonus Studio One Digital Audio Workstation. Notable cooperations include ADAM Audio Academic Programme, Behringer Training Center and many others. Our school has the status of a public school, teaching in-line with the European Qualifications Framework. The Academy also engages in post-graduate studies in cooperation with Poland’s largest Private College - Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw. Various educational and promotional activities are also performed together with the Polish Association of Sound Engineers (PSRD). We invite everyone to join the Academy of Sound Engineering, whether you are looking to start learning, to upgrade your existing skills or to cooperate with us to foster the art and profession of sound.

STUDENTS OF THE ACADEMY OF SOUND ENGINEERING IN WARSAW HAVE ACCESS TO ADAM AUDIO STUDIO MONITORS.
The Academy of Sound Engineering in Warsaw is one of the leading private education institutions teaching those who wish to enter the world of professional audio production. The school conducts courses in four branches, located in Warsaw, Gdynia, Jaworzno and Wrocław. It also teaches a large number of government institution employees whose professional duties are related to sound engineering.
The academy focuses on exercise and professional skills acquisition. Practical courses take place in computer labs equipped with various monitors of German manufacturer. Starting from T series, through AX-Series, ending up with flagship S speakers like the ADAM Audio S3V and Studio Pro SP-5 reference headphones. Audio quality is regarded as one of the most basic challenges lecturers face when conducting recording classes. In the sound recording process, the producer aims to capture the sound from the audio feed either in its most unadulterated form or in one which corresponds to their artistic vision. This is why audio quality is, according to the principal, Krzysztof Maszota, crucial element of music production. It provides information that allows us to determine how close we are to obtaining the desired results.
As has already been stated, the audio quality of studio monitors have a tremendous impact on the final outcome. These are the drivers on which we base our assessment as to whether the recording meets our criteria, Krzysztof Maszota continues. Personally as sound engineer I have been working on ADAM Audio monitors for 15 years. And ADAM Audio monitors were chosen for this very reason.
Monitors are extremely useful in the mixing process, playing an important role in helping the sound producer navigate through various frequencies. Moreover, students work with them during the difficult process of tracks capturing. In this case, the monitors have proven to be very helpful thanks to the natural and detailed sound reproduction. Krzysztof Maszota affirms that ADAM Audio monitors are excellent for the above-mentioned tasks. They are versatile, support many music formats and fully adjust to various types of mix environments. The monitors are also cherished among students, who value the ease of use due to transmission of the clarity of audio signal.
